In Denmark is the hard-won collective rights to a public, health care and education system under constant pressure.

The so-called public welfare is undermined by the savings and constant demands for privatization.

The government and its support populist party feels called to in the name of democracy to enforce personal freedom including freedom of expression whether it be at the expense of other people's feelings and affiliation.

Every man must learn to be "his own happiness".

Community, solidarity and caring for the weak man must give way to each individual's right to self-fulfillment

Unfortunately, the parliamentary opposition is unable to provide an alternative policy

The bourgeois government of Denmark is trying to win power over minds.

School plans and content of education is becoming  closely aligned with the bourgeois government and the EU `s ideology.

The civil government  wants to influence all children in Denmark in the same way

- And they want to control the teachers.

There are now introduced canon or central guidelines in history and literature and art

29 subject are compulsory subjects

Neither Nazism or the Holocaust is a part of the canon in primary schools.

Is it not important to teach future generations about Nazi crimes and human sacrifices to defeat it ?

No attention is paid to the critical view of society or history.

Increasingly education is topic specific, fragmented and not scientifically substantiated

Many young people have not learned to be critical of their sources.

They have very often their historical knowledge from websites.

There are several examples of young people who is doubtful against or deny the Holocaust.

The Russian revolution is not on the list of important events in human history.

Contrast, appear "fall of the Wall", Maastricht, 11 September, and globalization as essential items.

In these days blocking students from Copenhagen's university teaching in the subjects biology, biochemistry, geography and geology.

The university should sack 100 staff - and the disciplines that are blocked are the subjects which will be hardest hit by redundancies.

Layoffs is partly because the subjects had fewer students and therefore received small grants because the money is paid to education in relation to how many students are enrolled in courses.

The range of subjects is small, and it therefore becomes harder to maintain breadth subjects and social issues.

At the Institute for Geography and geology cut more professional direction away --among subjects that are important for research into climate change.
