KKE protests NATO Conference in Greece

Hundreds of people (see the attached photos) “invaded” in the conference’s place and expressed the Greek people’s opposition to the NATO plans that turn against the interests of the peoples in all over the world. Young people were carrying photos of NATO’s crimes in Yugoslavia (during the war in 1999) “NATO murders peoples, disband it now! - KKE” was the slogan on the banner which was at the head of the march. This conference shall present, discuss, analyze and draw conclusions on NATO policies namely those that are also of importance to the countries of South-Eastern Europe. Concluding outcomes and proposals shall be forwarded to NATO. The
Communist Party of Greece -KKE organized today (19-2-2010) a protest rally
against a NATO conference on the New Strategic Concept which is held in
Thessaloniki (is the 2nd biggest city of Greece). 
A
Conference, organized under the auspices of NATO's Public Diplomacy Division in
Thessaloniki- Grand Hotel Palace, GREECE, aims to draw important conclusions for
the ongoing process on NATO’s new Strategic Concept.
